What the heck?! Japan is all about being germ-crazy. People wear masks (like a surgeon`s) if they`re sick so they don`t cough on people and they even sometimes wear gloves while they`re driving (haven`t figured that one out yet) and they wear slippers in the bathroom because the floor might be dirty. However, they don`t think it`s weird at all to take a bath with a bunch of other people of the same gender in a hot spring. Naked.
