Newton's Third Law

You know how we exert force on the earth every time we walk... what if we got the entire world's population to walk in the same direction at once. Would that be enough force to cause the world's rotation to speed up? Or maybe we could stop the earth from spinning! That would be so crazy. It could throw us all out of orbit and then we'd go flying and it would be crazy cool!

Interesting idea. The thing is, every year (I think every year.. look into it if you are interested) in Japan (once again, not sure, I know it is in East Asia) they hold an event where they try to get as many people as possible to jump all at once, because theoretically if enough people push on the planet with their jumps, they could throw the Earth very slightly off it's orbit.

By the way, I had no idea you looked at my blog..

Jake, I didn't know that! That sounds pretty neat and futile! Haha,
yeah, I read it occasionally, just to see what movies you're reviewing. It's well-written.
