The World’s Most Comfortable Pants are handmade in Northern Thailand by artisans working near or in their homes. Our suppliers followFair Trade principles and are based far from the sweatshops that plague Bangkok. To demonstrate our concern for the well-being of these workers and those around them, we donate 5% of all profits to Khom Loy Development Foundation which works with poverty-stricken minorities and children in Northern Thailand. By buying the World’s Most Comfortable Pants, you are supporting villagers in rural Thailand by spreading their crafts around the world, while also contributing to the improvement of their home region and betterment of their lives and children's futures. Plus, you get to wear the most comfortable pants you will ever wear. Ever.


So what’s up with the name Cotton Compliments?
Well, we’re hoping you’ll get some compliments for wearing them. We want our name to reflect our philosophy here; we want to spread a charitable and positive attitude, and we want you to do the same. Whenever you’re enjoying The World’s Most Comfortable Pants, remember where you got them and brighten someone’s day with a thoughtful compliment. There’s a bit of wordplay involved as well, since we hope our product will complement your lifestyle.

Most importantly, though, we at Cotton Compliments realized the best way we could show our appreciation to our artisans and compliment their hard work is to donate money back into their society to brighten their future and the future of their children. For a long time, I had my short story "Dreams" on here.
I took it down and have started selling it on Amazon.com for Kindle. You can read it on a kindle, iPod touch, iPad, or any Android phone or Tablet , Windows Phone or even your PC or Mac with a free program available straight from Amazon. The book has undergone a title change from "Dreams" to the much more interesting "Parasomnia," along with a few minor changes and edits that differ from the version that was on here until yesterday.

Every time I see the letters "GLBT" I think it's some fancy variety of the classic BLT. Maybe they added guacamole. I don't know. But whenever I see it, I have to think twice about its meaning.

Hiatus

I am going away for 2 years starting June 21st 2009.

I am going on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Honolulu Hawaii.

I am not sure I will post anything between now and June 24th 2011 (when I return) so, this might be farewell.

I hope Scott will post a few times to keep this place alive. He's in China right now, though. We'll see.

There are countless other items that are much more dissimilar from apples than oranges.
